Privacy policy
GreyLoop LLC. Last updated October 20, 2026.
Who we are
GreyLoop LLC, a Colorado company, runs Hindsight. When you connect an Instagram professional account, Hindsight reads your posts and their numbers, compares each post with your own recent posts, and shows you which choices went with your best and worst posts.
What we collect
We store your Instagram account id and username, and the posts you have published: caption, media type, posting time and link, with their views, reach, likes, comments, saves, shares, average watch time and follows. We also store the public post numbers of the professional accounts you add in Settings, the email address you give us for the weekly report, and the access token Meta issues so we can refresh your numbers. We never ask for your Instagram password. We do not read your direct messages or collect who your followers are.
How we use it
We use your data to run Hindsight for you: tagging and backtesting your posts, scoring your drafts and sending your weekly report. We do not sell your data, we do not share it with advertisers, and we do not use your data in another customer's results.
Where we keep it and for how long
We keep your data on servers we rent from a hosting provider, and every connection to Hindsight uses HTTPS. We keep it while your account is open. When you close your account or ask us to delete your data, we delete it within 30 days and delete your access token at once.
Your choices
You can remove Hindsight's access at any time in Instagram, and you can ask us for a copy of your data or for its deletion. The data deletion page explains how.
Age
Hindsight is for people 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone younger.
Changes
If we change this policy in a way that affects you, we will post the change on this page and tell you in the weekly email before it takes effect.
